| so thursday me and david went to easton and met caitlin and 2 of her friends there. i had to go to abercrombie for rika, and caitlin's friends were "anti-abercrombie" or something like that...they were a lesser degree of hot topic kids. its kind of dumb to be anti a clothing store, i think that is something i did when i was in middle school, not going to be a senior in high school. but anyway, me, david and caitlin went to abercrombie. i bought the items and left. then we went to max and ermas. haha. i acted like it was my birthday and i wanted them to sing for me. the waitress asked if i would rather have them sing or i get a free sundae. i said i'd take the free sundae. then she came back saying that i needed to give them id that it was my bday so that i could get a free sundae...well of course it wasnt by bday so i came out and said "aw, im sorry, its not really my bday i was just trying to get a free sundae." i felt like an ass but oh well. then we went back to davids and played halo (the girls left us before we left the restaurant).
friday i went to work at 8 and got done at 1. came home and spent 5 hours organizing my 1230 songs in my iTunes library. i got all of the titles, artists, albums and genre's. it took a little time to look up L'Arc~en~Ciel and Ayumi Hamasaki and Utada Hikaru's albums. then i put them all on my iPod.
saturdya i woke up and went to denison for june orientation. it was fine. i got to schedule all my classes for fall semester next year. i had an interview with my japanese professor to see where i should be placed. we talked in japanese. he said my listening comprehension is extremely good but wanted to work with me on fluency and structuring my sentences better when i speak. he uses the same methods as OSU (he got his masters and phd from there) so that is good cause i will be speaking a lot better. so my classes are as follows:
9:30 - general chemistry
10:30 - intermediate japanese 211
11:30 - calculus I (>_<);
2:30 - modern japanese literature (freshman comp class thing)
...oh, and a 3 hour lab for chem on thursdays from 1:30 - 4:30 (T.T);
it returned home at about 11 this morning, it took me 35 minutes to get home ^_^; then i went to the pool with my parents and brother. after that i played guitar a little bit then ate dinner. after that we went to see harry potter. it was good! it was just like the book (^_^). now im watching big fish and i think im going to get tickets to john mayer/maroon 5. | | |

i cut the grass when i got home from work and then me and my parents went to look for a new cellphone for me because my subscription to att is over july 3rd or something. so we went to cingular, because they are both on it. i was a little hesitant because they didnt seem to have that great of cell phones online but there were 2 phones that they had that werent online. i got the Motorola v400. its really nice. GSM is such good quality. its like night and day compared to my old phone. it has vga camera too and a really nice color screen. doesnt play videos or mp3s like benny's though (v_v) but i did sign up for the multimedia message package. i can send picture/voice email 50 times a month. i was pleased with my purchase. then it was like 8:30 and i told david we could hang out at like 7:15 (>_<) then i wen to davids. picked him up and went to meet caitlin at scioto. first we climbed the smaller band tower and talked and i put some numbers into my phone. then we went to the big band tower and tried to remake the tire swing. we succeeded. they cut the hose but there was a connecting piece on both of them so we put it together and wrapped it around the board on the top. then caitlin showed up. we walked to the portables that are being wrecked apart. there arent any knobs on any of the doors so we went into some of the rooms. it was so sticky in them. like a steam room. then we found a tire to use for the swing. we wheeled it back and lifted it. we sorta swung on it a little but were afraid that it would break or the board would snap. then we went to kroger and ate the free cookies. then we wanted to buy a pint of milk to drink and i realized...i didnt have my wallet! crap! but i had a kroger card. i had upwords of 100$ in my wallet (to pay back benny $50 for the modchip and casey for the ben folds ticket). then me and david bought a pint of milk each and drank it and went back to the free cookies (it was like 11:30pm) then on the loud speaker this guy was like "if you like grapes, kroger has...grapes. they are in the proooduce aisle. someone will be there to help you if you want....grapes!" it was so random...which was fun. then we went to sit in caitlin's bmw suv for about 10 minutes. then i took david home. when i got home at 12 i searched my house upside down for my wallet. i looked in my car under the driver's seat--not there. i then went back to scioto at 12:30 with a flash light retracing my steps that night. i climbed the band tower, walked out to the tire swing--in the portables, nothing. got back home. got out of the car and thought "where are the things i lose usually when i have them in the car?? i then remembered carrying all my stuff out to the car (2 phones, keys and wallet) and i put them on my japanese book that was in the front seat. i then went to look on the far side of the passenger seat, between the door and the seat. as i looked over the ridge of the edge of the seat i saw the Louis Vuitton wallet peaking up at me. (>_<) i hate when i lose stuff to the side of the passenger seat...
then i woke up at 7:15 and went to work all day. i got lunch at max and ermas with the office at 11 which was really good. it didnt fill me up though. i got out at like 3 or something. i got home and a biiiig box was waiting for me (#^_________^#) my 15" Powerbook G4!! Radeon 9700, 1.5ghz (thats about 3.2ghz for you pc users!), dvd burner, built-in wireless internet...mmmmm *splooog* well i spent a little time installing some stuff (adium, photoshop 7, new matrix icons from iconfactory.com) then jjinni called and we were off to the mall on a secret mission for my sweetie across the sea. we were getting ready to go into victoria's secret and we saw esther and 2 other korean girls. they babbled in korean a little and one of them dropped a thong out of her bag! HAHA talk about embarassment  then we went in and it was so embarassing. i had a group of girls with me to lessen the blow but there was nothing good so we left. the other girls left and me and jjinni checked like gap/abercrombie (which has one good one but i didnt get it)/hollister/express. it was a crash and burn mission. didnt find anything. then i came back home for the rest of the night and played with my new toy ^_^; i watched last samurai too. that was good. i havent seen it in a while. |

| monday i woke up at 8:50 and started running at 9:00. i ran around campden lakes (2.25 miles). i was so dead. cold shower then i made some meat ramen (ramen with lots of turkey or whatever meat is in my freezer upstairs). then i went to look for a job. i stopped at the UPS store and they didnt have any openings. then i...went next door to the IACE Travel Agency, a japanese travel agency. I walked in and at first no one looked up from their computers. then this lady looks up and her face is like "is that a white person standing in the doorway?!" then she hesitently got out of her chair and came up to me and asked me if i needed help (directions maybe?). and i sorta stumbled around and asked if i could get a job there (cleaning, answering phones, anything i just wanted to improve my japanese speaking and listening comprehension). and of course being japanese, she isnt direct, but basically her answer was "no, you are white." she said i could send in a resume if i wanted. but that is too much work for a job i most likely wont get. so i went to work at 1pm (v_v) finished at like 4:45. i think i was on the internet looking around more than actual work. we were dead. then i went home and ate some mmm mmm fried chicken. my mom makes it so good! i had 2 breasts and some mashed potatoes (^_^) i will really miss home cooking next year (>_<) then i went to Uki's house. i got to meet his mom. she looked so young. she brought back from japan some completely home-made sake that her mom (uki's grandmother) made. she had just gotten in that day. then after a while of looking at cell phones on his computer and talking about them we had some food. i tried some usagi (eel) and curry rice. it was....weird? idk. it isnt really something i would pick to eat probably. but it wasnt too bad. i couldnt finish it. but i did finish the rice. then this guy walked in that looked really familiar to me with uki's sister and it ended up being this life guard from my pool like 5 or 6 years ago! he was my swimming coach at wedgewood. it was nice to talk to him. then we finished watching ocean's eleven which is always good to watch. then i let uki be with his family. his little boy is so cute! he is about 13~14 months. such a nice family.
then i went to kelvin's house to watch 3rd period of the calgory v. tampa bay stanley cup game. we also were watching xmen 2 on the tv next to it and playing poker. we played 2 one dollar tournaments, i didnt do very well. but i only lost a dollar each time!
then....this morning--i wake up and 1/2hr late i receive my iPod!!!!! mmmmmmm 20gigs of yumminess. it was so sweet. even the box it came in was amazing. apple has such nice looking products. then i went to mickey's house to put some songs on my iPod cause my computer doesnt have a firewire port (v_v) so i will have to wait until my powerbook comes to put allll my songs on it (#^_^#) then i went to Koyama-shoten to ask for a job. she was impressed with my kanji when i put "namae: nick koogler; denwabango: ###-####" with namae and denwabango in kanji and she was impressed with my speaking abilities. she wanted my name and number incase any openings came up. cause they had enough people working. (v_v) pretty much turned down again. but! i have 2 possible website customers. adam milnor called and said his mom needs a website for her new business. what a great way to start using my powerbook! it'll be so nice. sit in my lazy boy downstairs, watch tv, and be on my laptop with wireless internet! woo...another lady that came to my graduation party said some realtors need someone to do a website for them, so we'll see. that is such amazing money. 20$ hour ^____________^; $$$. im gonna get like 700 from the one i am working on now. i am at work now, i will hopefully be finished in an hour. then i am going to the mall to victoria's secret for some shopping (^.-) | | |
| saturday (noon and night) - i got to talk to rika for 4 hours on MSN!! it was great. i enjoyed every second of it. then i worked on the wedgewood website (http://198.234.193.35/~koogs/wedgewood/index.html if you care to look at it) for a while then kelvin came over. we played baseball with cicadas in my yard for a few minutes then went to pick up my pizza for me and my brother. we ate. then went to anil's house to meet up with anil, benny, shyu, polish, kenny, akane and dave. we "decided" to eat at rusty bucket but we got there and there were too many people because of the memorial tournament so we then decided to go to applebees, where eatin good is good. on the way there i found those snap things in kelvins car (you throw them on the ground and they pop). i was throwing them out the window at anil, benny and dave's car. we were on 161 highway part from perimeter and anil was behind us. so i went to throw one out of the sun roof so that it would hit anils car but when i went to throw it my hand hit the roof of the car and somehow snapped the little popper and practically popped our ear drums. it was so loud. then we finally got there and akane is afraid of those things so in the restaurant we kept popping them. i got an ice water. after that we couldnt really decide what to do so we went back to anil's house where there were some hockey sticks and we went to the tennis courts behind his house and hit the street hockey puck around until we couldnt see anymore. then i climbed over the 10ft tall fence which reallly hurt--especially when i couldnt really see the ground when i jumped down and i extended my legs too soon. that hurt really bad. my shins and lower back killed.
then we were waiting for Bovey to show up. we opened up the back of benny's 350z and i climbed thru the like rollover bar in his truck. then me and kenny were just sitting in his truck with our legs out the back and got the best idea--sitting in the back while benny drives! so he drove us around the neighborhood a little, then i drove kenny and benny around. i dont like the 1st gear for the car though cause you barely press the gas and have to let up off the clutch like a foot. i only stalled once. then bovey showed up and we went into anil's house to watch stanley cup game and play ping pong and poker. i was doing so sweet at poker. first round i wont 70$ (in chips, we werent playing real money but i wish we would have been). by the end i had like 64 dollars in 5 dollar chips and everyone else had like 10$ total. i was JP Morgan taking over everyone. then we took bovey home, he sat in the back with kenny. then we dropped him off and me and kenny were in the back and benny started driving away and bovey's mom comes out with some trash and sees us and is like "wtf...?" it was a priceless face. then benny took me home and that was the end of the night at 1:30am
sunday, sunday, sunday: i slept in until 11:30 (>_<) then i worked a little on the website and thank you notes. then my parents wanted me to watch Cabin Fever with them which wasnt that great of a movie. i didnt think it would be. then we went to eat dinner at max and ermas. then i came back and went to bob and margret's to give them a picture frame with "the posse's" picture in our graduation gowns. they really liked it and i talked with them for about 20 minutes or so. then i sat on the computer for a long time and went to bed. i printed off my edited version of Blurry Eyes by L'arc~en~Ciel from guitar pro 4. it was 19 pages (>_<) 204 measures. | | |
